Peace, Peace, there is no peace
To you who think that to attain peace, all you have to do is declare you are a peaceful nation, tear your defenses down and hope for the best are too cynical for words..Since ww11 there has been only one bright spot that I can recall and that was the economic crushing of the Soviet Union..We could not have done that without a strong military to back it up..All wars since then have resulted in pullouts and truces brought on by the lack of support and the skeaky wheels of the non-supportive element of the American public..For this group, lessons learned don't seem to last till the water gets hot..We as a nation have always fought for peace in the world..Would you have us stop now?
